Q. How do you submit in teams for a group assessment?
Group assessment submissions require one person per team to submit the assessment for grading.
Group Assessment submissions can be set up in two ways. One in which you submit as a Team submission on behalf of the group, and the other is an Individual submission where each individual is responsible for their own assessment submission.
Team Group Assessments are set up in a way in which you nominate or appoint a ‘Team Leader’ in each group. That person is then responsible for submitting the assessment on behalf of the group.
Once it has been submitted, the same submission will be assigned to each member of the group, so when the Facilitator marks your group submission the same comments and results can be viewed by all members from that group.
You will need to access the Assessment area and click on the related assignment you wish to submit as a ‘Group/Team’.
If you are the 'Team Leader', once you have attached your file and click ‘submit’, a pop-up window will appear advising that you are submitting work for the entire group and whether you wish to continue.
Click ‘OK’ and the assignment will be uploaded and sent to your Facilitator as a ‘Group/Team’ submission.
If submitting as an Individual submission, you will need to access that same Assessment area and click on the related Assignment you wish to submit.
Simply click ‘Browse My computer’ or 'Browser Cloud Storage' and upload your file.
Then click Submit, your Assignment has now been sent to your Facilitator as an Individual submission ready for grading.
If you wish to see whether your assessment has been submitted, please click on the ‘My Grades’ and a yellow question mark will appear next to the submission along with the date it was submitted.
