Even though the internet is extremely useful for finding a vast array of information, it is prudent to be careful when navigating the web because anyone can set up a web page. On the other hand, publishers of print materials (even those available online) carefully control and check what goes out under their name or that of a house publication. The online databases available through the Library, are evaluated and selected by Torrens University Library staff. It is critical that as a researcher, you are able to evaluate whether the information in the website is reliable or not by its content and not only by its look or graphics.
