Q. HOW DO I UPDATE MY PHOTO IN BLACKBOARD?

Answer

A profile shows how you want to present yourself to your peers and students. In your Blackboard profile, you decide what you want to be called, share your academic interests, a profile picture, and more.

If you are new to setting up a photo you will first click on the black and white image of a head in the top right corner of your screen within the Global Navigation Menu.     You will be required to agree to the terms and condition and that you are over the age of 13

Once you tick the box to the terms and conditions you are automatically prompted to provide a primary email.

The primary email address is used to identify you in Blackboard Learn at any institution. We recommend you enter your student email address.

Your personal image appears in the page header, people tool, blogs, journals, discussions, wikis.  Your profile picture also appears in the notifications modules, such as What's New. The modules may appear on the My Institution tab or on a course's home page.

Images must be less than 5 MB and at least 50 x 50 pixels in dimension. Acceptable file formats include GIF, PNG, and JPEG.

On the Edit My Blackboard Profile page in the right panel, select Change Picture to upload an image from your computer.

Then select Submit.
